John F. Rehm, 92, of Cape Vincent, New York passed away on Monday May 21st, 2018 at the Samaritan Medical Center.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home, Cape Vincent.
John was born in Utica, December, 12th 1925 to late William and Ella Bryant Rehm.
John graduated high school before serving in the United States Navy during World War II. After his service in the Navy he became the vice president of Marine Midland in Watertown where he worked until retirement in 1983 he also owned and operated Millens bay Marina for many years.
He was married to Elizabeth Randall on January 29, 1949.
John served as a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Rosiere, Knights of Columbus in Rosiere as well as the American Legion John C. Londraville Post 832 in Cape Vincent. John was often found restoring old tractors in his spare time.
John is survived by his sons: John (Carol) Durhamville, NY, Joe &Debra Whitesboro, NY, David (Tammy) Chaumont, NY. His daughter Susan (Kevin) FL. Sister Carolyn Munn Whitesboro, NY. Sister-in-law Betty. 19 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
John is predeceased by his parents, his wife, and his brother Bill Rehm.
Calling hours will be Friday May 25th11:00-1:00 pm at Cleveland Funeral Home in Cape Vincent, NY with a funeral service at 1:00 pm at St. Vincent of Paul church in Cape Vincent, NY. A burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Rosiere, NY. A reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall Rosiere N.Y. will be after the funeral services.
