A funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at St. Andrew’s Church, Sackets Harbor, with the Rev. Kevin O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery Watertown.

SACKETS HARBOR, N.Y.  —  Dorothy Irene Lunderman, 87, formerly of Sackets Harbor, died Monday, Jan. 18, at Bradenton, Fla., where she had resided for the past five years.

Born Nov. 12, 1922, in Watertown, the daughter of Grover H. Sr. and Julia Weaver Brenon, she graduated from Watertown schools.

She married Gordon Lunderman. He died in 1985. 

She was a clerk for Baxter Hardware and Janie Stokes Merchandise. She also was a caregiver for the elderly until 1998.  

Mr. Lunderman was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Church, Sackets Harbor, and a member of the Alter Rosary Society.

She was a member of the Star Grange in Sulpher Springs, and she enjoyed gardening and sewing, and caring for her children and grandchildren and also coming to Sackets Harbor for the summer months. 

Surviving are four sons and their wives, Gordon Jr. and Heather, Fla., Mike, Fla., John and Kathy, Sackets Harbor, and Mark and Karen, Sackets Harbor; two daughters and their husbands, Diane Lunderman Berger, Watertown, and Kris Lunderman Pickett , Glen Park; two brothers, Grover Brenon Jr., Sackets Harbor, and Bob Brenon, Dexter; a sister, Pauline Resseguie, Sackets Harbor; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Two brothers, Howard and Francis Brenon, a sister, Katherine Brenon, and a grandson, Daniel Berger, all died before her.
