Earl S. Treese Jr.

CAPE VINCENT, N.Y.  —  Earl S. Treese Jr., 73, of Route 12 E, Sand Bay, Cape Vincent, and formerly of Rochester, died suddenly on Wednesday, Sept. 15.  

Born May 12, 1937, in Holidaysburg, Pa., the son of Earl S. and Cora M. Baker Treese, he graduated from Scottland, Pa., schools.

Mr. Treese worked as a carpet installer for Imperial Floor Fashions, Rochester.  

He married Carmella Tartaglia. The couple lived in Rochester and moved to Cape Vincent in 2002.

Surviving are his wife Carmella V. Treese (Tartaglia), Cape Vincent; three daughters, Victoria (Thomas) Gentilcore, Eva Treese and her friend Tony Zicara and Darlene (Richard) Cheesebourgh, all of Rochester; six grandchildren; a brother Jack Treese; several nieces and nephews.  

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester. Directions and location will be given at the main gate. 

Arrangements are with the Cleveland Funeral Home, Cape Vincent. 

Donation may be given in his memory to American Heart Association.
