Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Becker–Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont.
Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Cape Vincent.

CHAUMONT, N.Y. — Geraldine H. Thompson, 97, widow of Roy W. Thompson, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, at the home of her daughter on Pt. Salubrious.
Born Jan. 4, 1914, in Cape Vincent, the daughter of, John and Biulah Humphrey, she graduated from Cape Vincent High School and from the former House of the Good Samaritan Hospital Nursing School, Watertown.
She later worked as a register nurse at the House of the Good Samaritan until her marriage.
She married the late Roy Thompson on Oct. 22, 1941, at First Presbyterian Church, Watertown, with the Rev. Bacon officiating. Mr. Thompson passed away Dec. 20, 1991.
Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Diane and Leslie Comins, Pt. Salubrious, Chaumont; a granddaughter, Sonya Comins, Cortland; a grandson and his wife, Eugene and Laurie Comins, Dexter; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Madison and Bailey Comins, Dexter.
Her twin brother, Harold Humphery, passed away before her.
She was a member of the Chaumont Presbyterian Church, where she was an Elder and Deacon. She was also a 50 year member of the former Chaumont Eastern Stars #225 Lodge, of which she was an officer and Chaplin.
She was an avid Yankees fan and loved to cook.
