Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at the Becker Cleveland Funeral Home, Chaumont, with Rev. Rachel Roberts, officiating. Burial will be in New Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chaumont. 

CHAUMONT, N.Y.  —  Joyce W. St. James, 84, of Three Mile Point Road South, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.  

Born Oct. 13, 1924 in Dundee, N.Y., the daughter of Wilber and Beatrice Webber, she attended local schools.  

She married Charles St. James in 1942. He died in 1985. 

Mrs. St. James worked in the Town of Irondequoit Library as librarian, and was also a home maker.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter in law, Charles and Deborah St. James, Watertown, and Paul St. James, Albion; a daughter and her husband, Sue and Chuck Cotrese, Greece, N.Y.; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  

Donation maybe given in her name to the Three Mile Bay Fire Dept. or the Alzheimer’s Association, 120 Washington St., Watertown, NY 13601.
