A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown, with Rev. Dr. Frederick Garry officiating. Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Cape Vincent. 

CAPE VINCENT, N.Y.  —  M. Isabel Rienbeck, 87, widow of Fredrick J. Rienbeck, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 15, surrounded by her family. Formerly of Cape Vincent and Watertown she has a resident at Samaritan Keep Nursing Home, for several years.  

Born June 25, 1922, in Cape Vincent, the daughter of Sherwood and Ina Robertson Countryman, she attended local schools.   

She married Frederick J. Rienbeck on Oct. 5, 1940, in Cape Vincent. He died Dec. 1, 2006. 

 Mrs. Rienbeck worked for the Watertown City School District for a number of years. 

Surviving are, a son and his wife, John and Ruth Rienbeck, Watertown; three daughters and their husbands, Virginia and Frank Citro, West Virginia, Deanna and Joel Getman, LaFargeville and Joy and Robert Grey, Liverpool; two brothers, Charles Countryman, Cape Vincent and Frank Countryman, Queensburg, NY; a sister Ina Maloney, Cape Vincent; several grandchildren,  great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  

Three brothers, William, Edward and John, died before her.
