Robert F. Jaquin Jr.

CAPE VINCENT, N.Y.  —  Robert F. Jaquin Jr., 83, of Cape Vincent, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Sept. 7. 

He was born July 1, 1928, in Syracuse, the son of Robert and Marguerite Jaquin. 

Mr. Jaquin had owned Jaquin Excess Inc. of Syracuse and Cape Vincent. Prior to that Mr. Jaquin served in the Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post 832 in Cape Vincent. 

Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Marion Jaquin; three sons, Fred Jaquin, Kurt Jaquin, and Jeff Jaquin; five step daughters, Debra Claxton, Donna Mullen (John), Lori Whitesell, Teri Knickerbocker, and Marni Falsey; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

A son, Josh Jaquin, died in 2005. 

There will be no services or calling hours per Mr. Jaquin’s wishes.
