CAPE VINCENT, N.Y.  —  Paul R. Glomboski, 69, formerly of Cape Vincent, died Thursday, Nov. 12, at Samaritan Keep Home, Watertown. 

He was known as the “Tourist” throughout Cape Vincent.  

Born Sept. 8, 1940, in Scranton, Pa., the son of John and Mary Richards Glomboski, he moved to Rochester, NY as a child and resided there many years before moving to Cape Vincent. 

He was employed as a carpet installer for many years until he was permanently disabled in an accident in 1967.

Surviving are a sister-in-law and caretaker for 17 years, Sue Glomboski, Cape Vincen; a sister-in-law, Mary Glomboski, Long Island; and several nieces and nephews. 

A twin brother, Joseph Glomboski, a brother, John Glomboski Jr., and a nephew Eddie Glomboski, all died before him.
