DEXTER,N.Y. — Wesley D. Barth, 82, 310 W. Kirby St., died Tuesday, July 27, at SamaritanMedicalCenter, Watertown.
Born Oct. 24, 1927, in Rosiere, the son of Leopold and Myrtle Barth, he graduated from Lyme Schools and served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Barth was a Lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electricians, working last at FortDrum.
He married Frances Clapsaddle.
Mr. Barth was a member Dexter American Legion Post #583.
Surviving are a son, Gary A. Barth, Chaumont; three daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Mark Voellinger, Fairport, N.Y., Rebecca and Kevin Ryan, Atlanta, Ga., and Shawna and Nick Hanslowe, Liverpool, N.Y.; three sisters, Helen Barth, Rochester, Florence Allen, Burrville, and Nina Green, Schofield, Wisc.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers, Kenneth, Oliver, Carl, Leo Jr, and Gerald Barth, and a sister, Kathleen Comins, died before him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
